Christmas Holidays 2008

The Lovat Arms Hotel was designed for Christmas. The atmosphere created by the open log fire, arched ceilings along with the friendly informal service and fun entertainment ensure we share the enjoyment of this very special time of year with you.

Join us for four nights over Christmas to make this season's festivities unforgettable. Our festive itinerary for Christmas includes:

23rd December

 Following arrival settle in at your leisure then join us for a welcome drinks party to meet your fellow guests in the Garden Room for mulled wine prior to the three course table d'hote dinner in the dinning room.

 Christmas Eve

 After a full Scottish breakfast enjoy the enchanting Scottish countryside travelling around Beauly or simply walking by the river or through the village.

Afternoon tea or coffee with a selection of pastries will be a perfect prelude to the delicious three course table d'hote dinner including wine selected to complement the dinner menu prepared by our chef Carl Reid and his team.

 Christmas Day

 Begin this festive day with a hearty breakfast and then take a stroll through the old priory to work you appetite before joining the management team for drinks prior to indulging in the traditional Christmas Lunch including wine.

Enjoy your leisurely afternoon sitting by the open fire (eyes closed) maybe, then awake to the afternoon tea or coffee with Christmas cake followed by a light buffet dinner served in the garden room.

 Boxing Day

 A late wake up and a slow breakfast, before stepping up the pace to try the hotel Treasure Hunt, but remember to be back in time for lunch.

 Afternoon tea or coffee served with pastries and sandwiches will be followed by a Scottish candle-lit dinner and wine with Traditional Ceilidh entertainment.

 27th December

 A piper gives you a traditional send off after a hearty Scottish breakfast and a fond farewell from all.
